Richard Cash wins Primary! Runoff to be June 22

Richard Cash won first place in the Third District Republican congressional primary June 8, with over 25% of the vote. His message of faith, family, and freedom resonated with voters across the district. Cash, a businessman who has never held elected office, emphasized the need to change the way Washington politics works, and pledged not to accept any special interest money or to stay in the House of Representatives longer than 10 years.

The second-place candidate at 23% of the vote, State Representative Jeff Duncan, has accepted thousands of dollars from PACs, and has not taken a term limits pledge, a difference that may be a key issue in the two week runoff campaign.

Richard Cash and Rep. Duncan will face off on June 22 for a runoff vote to determine who the Republican nominee will be.

Anyone who wishes to help Richard Cash can donate here to help him in the contest with Duncan, who is expected to continue outspending Richard in advertising.
